A blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon and 23% Syrah/Shiraz, hand harvested from vineyards in the northern Benjamin mountains of Israel; Psagot ‘Sinai’ M Series is a refreshing, fruity and beautifully balanced wine. Deep garnet in color with notes of raspberry, blackberry and juniper berry on the nose. The taste compliments the aromas and adds flavors of pomegranate, black pepper, oregano and thyme. The finish is bright with velvety tannins. This is a serious wine with serious crowd pleasing potential. Not only is the wine delicious, the history of the region and winery is fascinating. The Psagot barrel cellar is located in a newly uncovered ancient cave (from the Second Temple era) that was discovered during the process of establishing the winery. The natural conditions and constant temperature of the cellar facilitates the high-quality aging process of many fragrant and delicious wines, ‘Sinai’ is certainly one of them.
