The Yarden Mount Hermon White displays a refreshing mix of citrus, floral, papaya and melon characters. Bright and flavorful, this medium-bodied wine is a crowd-pleaser. We like nothing better than to drink Yarden Mount Hermon White while dining al fresco, enjoying the freshest catch-of-the-day, hot and smoky, just off the grill. Some have even been known to add a dash of crème de cassis for an enjoyable "Kir" to be sipped among friends. The Yarden Mount Hermon White is made mostly from Sauvignon Blanc, with Chardonnay and Semillon blended in for added depth and complexity. A cold fermentation preserves the natural vibrancy of these varieties. All of the fruit comes from vineyards in the cool, high elevation, northern Golan Heights.
Yarden Mount Hermon White was produced from Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc grown in the Golan heights. The cool climate, rocky volcanic soil, and high altitude are ideal conditions for growing classic wine grape varieties. Cold fermentation retains the naturally fruity and floral qualities characteristic of these varietals. To preserve the quality of the wine, this bottle should be stored on its side in a cool, dark place. Best served at about 50 degrees.
