This wine’s third vintage in our Top 100! From Robert Parker’s “The Wine Advocate” on the ‘15: “The one La Mancha appellation red is the 2015 Single Vineyard, pure Tempranillo from the Finca Los Juncares, fermented in stainless steel and pressed before the fermentation is over and then matured in first and second use French casks for 14 months. This is from their own vineyard in the village of Las Mesas where Rafa Cañizares was born, and this is his flagship wine. It's a heady, ripe and generously oaked Tempranillo with plenty of spice and with marked flavors in a commercial style.”
