Only one of two Demeter Certified wineries in the Veneto for Biodynamic production, the passionate Maddalena Pasqua Di Bisceglie and her team at Musella are crafting some of the most distinctive and terroir-driven wines of the region. The wines follow an ambitious project, not only because they are biodynamic, but also in the belief that it’s time for Valpolicella to further exploit its territorial potential. Grapes lose 50% of their original weight, concentrating sugars, aromatic components and noble tannins. The results are stunning, with richness, complexity and a sense of place that’s hard to match.
