In the foothills of the towering stratovolcano Mount Etna, the Carricante grape is an ancient variety thought to have grown here for a thousand years. Bracing acidity is a trademark of this grape, as well as the very high quality wines produced in these volcanic soils. Persistent floral and white fruit aromas, with a pleasing minerality and bright, crisp and complex finish. Perfect with aged cheeses, shellfish and raw fish.
