"Both dry and juicy. Fat, rich delivery with a wonderful dovetailing of juicy barley and thick, rumbling fruit. Lots of toffee on the finish, but gets away with it thanks to the sheer depth to the barley and the busy sherry sub-plot. Has changed character of late yet remains underpowered and with a shade too much toffee. But such is the quality of the malt in its own right and it can overcome any hurdles placed before it to ensure a real mouth-filling, rumbustious dram." -Jim Murray, Whisky Bible, 90 points
