A blend of 3 single malts from William Grant and named in honor of the Maltmen who turn the barley with large wooden shovels and develop a sore shoulder known in the industry as monkey shoulder. The 3 malts from William Grant's most famous distilleries: Glenfiddich, Balvenue and Kinnie. The finished blended malt is a very smooth, easy drinking whisky. It coats your palate with a rich malty flavor and finishes well. Great straigh or in a cocktail. This is prime example of what we mean when we say, "the art of blending."
